Lego League season completed December 13, with six of our local teams qualifying for the State Tournament. Congratulations to the Grandville Middle School LegoBusters, who finished third in the State. Again this year five of our teams finished in the top 25 team in Michigan.

High School Robotics is underway. We have two teams this year, and both compete for the first time on Feb 27 in Traverse City.

 

 

Grandville Academic Team Boosters hosts Jazz Series

The Boosters are regularly looking for new ways to generate funding for our academic teams. This year, we have hosted a Grandville Jazz Series - bringing nationally known jazz artists to Grandville and, at the same time, raising money to support our teams. All performances are underwritten by a major sponsor, so 100% of ticket proceeds go to support our Lego League, First Robotics, Botball, Science Olympiad, and other academic teams.

We're down to one more Jazz night in the series - our West Michigan Jazz Showcase.
